I think the Agilent ads are for the purpose of attracting investment
dollars as much as anything.  If you get more people buying your stock, the
chances are the price will go up.  In fact, I think most of these ads are
designed to attract investment as much as anything.  I find it hard to
believe that a CEO or CIO is sitting in his/her living room making purchase
decisions based on a 30 second spot.  They already know that Sun,IBM, and
HP exist, or at least I would hope they do.
