i really like this idea.  as much as i understand the motivation behind taking
out an ad, i really have my doubts that it will make any difference.  ...and
doing the ad thing would probably go a  l-o-n-g way towards labeling us a
'kooks'....which i don't view as a good thing.  we want/need to be seen as
peers, as folks on a level (and the same!) playing field.  i see making a
charitable contribution as constructive, different and note-worthy.  and we'd
doing it with dignity rather than as a bunch of whiners.      - d 'imo'
