The real answer lies somewhere down the line.  Rumor has it that when
IA-64 becomes fully available to the HP3000 line, both HP-UX and MPE
*WILL* be able to coexist on the same box... actually going one-up on
the Linux/DOS combination.  Both operating systems will be able to
coexists and simultaneously function - on separate processors within the
box.
