Is George a patron of the supplier for such a "particularly potent weed
there in SF"?

To paraphrase John: George doesn't seriously believe that the A-Class
qualifies as having "enough processing power to carry customers through
the next five years", does he? Did George miss the friendly chats about
"CPU crippling" for the A-Class (under MPE/iX, of course, not under
HP-UX)?

George is a good guy and he sings wonderfully (I'll never forget his
performance at HP World last year during Winston Prather's superb
hp3000 presentation). His diction is impeccable and his delivery is
second to none. So, I *want* to believe that he just wasn't aware
of the slight shortcomings of the A-Class in terms of raw processing
power (under MPE/iX, not under HP-UX). Same hardware, slightly
different bias on (for? by? through?) OS software.

Unabashedly unbiased,
