MAILER seems to be an UDC or command file - what's behind ?
Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany
P.S. We use Sendmail/iX and have a batch command file named SENDBACK or
SENDFILE (for attachments) and a commandfile for on-line usage named
SENDMAIL. Both can be found on my homepage http://www.hillschmidt.de/ under
HP e3000 Articles section.

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] e-mails from HP3000
Hello,
I used this method to sent emails using the 3000- via batch job. Does this
look right to you?
!JOB SM,MANAGER.SYS
!MAILER [FILE CONTAINING EMAIL ADDRESSES HERE],'[SUBJECT]'
[BODY OF MESSAGE HERE]
!EOD
!EOJ
The brackets are not included in actual command.
Inside the address file it should look like this:
-t [log in to unmask]
-t [log in to unmask]
I hope this is useful and correct (best of my memory).

I may have missed previous postings on this subject but I will ask...
Is it possible to send/receive email using the HP3000? If so what software
is available? Any personal feedback on how you found the products would be
a
great help!!
TIA
