What is this? Linux he says? Hmm... I think I've heard of that

I am willing to help, but I have only debugged and modified code, never
written it from scratch. I do have a moderate command of TCP/IP and
routing protocols, at least in UNIX.

HP proprietary protocols throw me for a loop. This will take a little
reading up on if you would like my help.
