We're all new to UNIX utilities. Nobody in this shop has much training or
any real experience in UNIX. To use grep, you have to get into the Korn
shell and you have to know how the directory structure works. We're just
now getting into that.

I don't think we can do that here. We have separate typeahead boxes
needed to support a high-speed data entry application. Attempting to
disable that would risk interference to critical applications.

I still say that the grouping of functionality is ill-conceived, at best.
Obviously, nobody at HP did a usability study on these products. You have
to use too many keystrokes to get into the mode that lets you do each
task. That's ridiculous. HP EDIT ignores most of the functionality that
is built into HP terminal and/or PC keyboards.
