Hi Craig.
Last year, we had a situation where the XM process on pin11 posting to disc
on our 969/120 was "freezing" all users for upto 20 seconds at a time.
Refer to the HP3000-L archives at:
http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/WA.EXE?A2=ind0108D&L=hp3000-l&P=R8675
or search the archives for "XM checkpoint".
Our box is a 969-120 on 6.5, 512mb memory.
We installed patch MPELXM5 and that fixed the problem.

Help,
I am having some problems with a system running MPE/iX 6.5 PP2, it is a
939/20 with 4 GB of memory.
It appears that when the XM posts, it is causing everyone on the system
to hang.
I know there are some memory patches, specifically MPELXH8E. But how do
I tell what is current? Are there any others I should be concerned
about?
I have a listing of the HPSWINFO file, there are very few patches
installed. I do see:
MPELXG6C and MPELXF8B
What are the current memory patches for large memory configurations?
Thanks in advance!
