at Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont during a heated exchange on the
Senate floor, congressional aides said on Thursday.




   Good gracious. So swearing is worse than continuing to pretend there are
Iraq/Al Qaeda links? Worse than
   going hunting with the judge who's ruling on your "privacy/commercial
confidence/divvying up Iraq oil"
   energy policy group case?

        There's another adage that fits more precisely - "Straining at a
gnat while swallowing a camel".
