Let me put in a plug for Mark Bixby's Patchman script. The particular
machine above was upgraded Wednesday to MPE/iX 6.5 PP2 using the standard HP
tapes. I wanted to get this machine up-to-date with all the relevant 6.5
patches (I knew there were quite a few since PP2 has been out awhile). I
suppose I could have called the RC to get a tape, but instead I used
Patchman and told it I wanted everything. The script downloaded and unpacked
automatically all 80-some patches to my system. I then used Patch/iX to
finish the job of producing a CSLT from the 70-some patches that qualified
and updated this system.

I've used Patchman before on single patches, but never on something like
this. Pretty slick, Mark. Consider this my vote for CSY to support Patchman.
