During the management roundtable, this issue was brought up, and the
response (sorry I don't remember who answered it from the panel) was that
ANY user who has received MPE within the past three years would in fact
be entitled to a free upgrade to a Y2K compliant version. No mention
was made as to how this would be accomplished, or even relayed to
those users, but they did agree to it.

To the best of my knowledge any customer nor on support has had to pay for any upgrade. No customer I have worked with has
received free software.
