Is this like the mux that was shipped with the early 925/935/949
machines. If so I have configured to use the other ports and the OS
does listen for responses however, no VPLUS and no speed control is
available.

        hi all~
is anyone running their 3000 with an mfio card that's got a
mux connection on it (like an hp-ux might)? (hey alfredo...)
i'm in the process of converting an hp-ux (e55) box to mpe
        (988) and am hung up over this card. rumor has it i *can*
use this card but i'd like some more substantial proof/dis-
        proof. - d
