I'm with Craig on this - need to see STORE command.
If you don't have a STORE list or command:
You can do VSTORE to create a list of files on the tape
:FILE T;DEV=7
:VSTORE *T;@[log in to unmask]@;SHOW >km
:PRINT km
You can also get a listing of the tape with RESTORE and the LISTDIR option.
This also will show the STORE command and date of the store.
:RESTORE *t;;LISTDIR >km
:PRINT km
I usually see the NOT FOUND error when I have the name wrong.
Fox 9:restore *t;keven.pub.sys;show
>> TURBO-STORE/RESTORE VERSION C.60.24 B5152AA <<
(C) 1986 HEWLETT-PACKARD CO.
RESTORE *t;keven.pub.sys;SHOW
MON, NOV 4, 2019, 3:30 PM
KEVEN.PUB.SYS NOT RESTORED: FILE NOT FOUND ON MEDIA
FILES RESTORED : 0
FILES NOT ON MEDIA : 1
I would guess that INTERLEAVE and multiple tapes may be at play here.

All,
Has anyone seen the following error when restoring data?:
"FILE WAS NOT FOUND WHEN FINAL TRAILER WAS ENCOUNTERED".
The backup job did not report a problem.
This is the first time I've encountered that error.
Thoughts?
