    I am still pursuing other options at this point.  However, I can't
directly change the BLDPARMS file in ARPA.SYS.  When is this file read?
Could I:
1)  Have the VM system logon (and a UDC to set the BLDPARMS file equate
to file x)
2)  Have the VM system put file x with the new build parms
3)  Put the "wide" file
4)  Purge x
5)  Logout

    There is a problem with when I would want to set the file equate to
x (obviously not every time).  Anyway, would that work?
