David,
For your testing you may want to invoke the '-v' option in order to see what
JTMAIL is passing on to your SMTP host. One of the problems that you'll run
into, especially with the long domain name that you have, is that you'll quickly
exceed the buffer size of the 'info string'. The version of JTMAIL that we use
has been enhanced to 'read' the list of recipients from a file.
One other feature of JTMAIL, and perhaps of other mailers, that is not
immediately evident is that you could 'prefix' into your file containing the
text to mail any number of header information. Thus a single recipient would be
specified in the 'info string' and the rest could be specified by a series of
"To: name@domain" just before the message text.

To all JTMAIL users,
Here's a problem I can't seem to figure out. I'm able to send a message to
1 address, but not 2 or more. I'm more baffled all the time. Here's my
command file...
This works...
echo Job completed successfully > mailfile
echo >> mailfile
run jtmail.pub.util;info="&
-f mailfile &
-s test mail subject line &
-u hp3000 &
-r [log in to unmask] &
-t"
This doesn't...
echo Job completed successfully > mailfile
echo >> mailfile
run jtmail.pub.util;info="&
-f mailfile &
-s test mail subject line &
-u hp3000 &
-r [log in to unmask] &
-r [log in to unmask] &
-t"
I don't get any errors back from JTMAIL, I just don't get the messages. Is
there a later version of JTMAIL floating around other than what is at the
INTEREX site? Again, help...
David Knispel
