There's no technical reason for such a restriction ... MPEX's CHLOGON uses
the AIF Changelogon routine.
I don't know if we "have" Security/3000 (we certainly don't have it turned
on, nor use it here, but I can't guarantee we have no files from it if they
happen to be in the VESOFT account)
... but a CHLOGON within MPEX worked just fine for me now.
