I appreciate the time you took on the retraction. When I read you initial
comments, I just thought how similar the story was to other people I have
listened to in the HP 3000 community. But then, I am not assosiated with
the Credit Union folks.
I do know from some of the colleges I have talked with, that their
management makes some of oddest decisions without listening to the IT folks.
They may take a $30,000 junket tour to look at other systems, and come back
without a clue as to what kind of infrastructure they need to support it.
That's in wo/manpower, hardware, software, and network. It just looked
great.
I have not met many people who would make a voluntary retraction,
reflection, and apology. I personally hold you in high regard.
