Question:
Does anyone know of a terminal emulation that runs on Linux that will
handle HP e3000 block mode applications?

Reason for need:
I'm trying to get an HP e3000 in the door and after about 9 months, it
looks like I'm getting really close.

But, about half the users don't have Windows PCs - they have Linux
workstations (mostly Red Hat 7.0, 7.1, or Mandrake) - and I need to find a
terminal emulation that will run on Linux and let them run HP e3000
applications. Some of these applications are block mode V/Plus
applications, so VT 100, VT 220, etc. emulations won't work. I don't want
the lack of a terminal emulation to kill the deal.

FYI: It appears that over time (here at least) there will be more and more
Linux PCs and fewer and fewer Windows PCs unless Microsoft "rethinks" its
corporate license fees for Windows XP. Linux and Star Office here we come.

John
