The announcement I had hoped to be able to make today (Thursday) looks like it
will be postponed until tomorrow (Friday).

Those of you already "in the know" from private e-mail, please continue to hold
your tongues.  ;-)

The rest of you are free to speculate.  :-)

This will be my only public or private statement about this until the
announcement itself.

PS: My free time has dropped to just about zero, and will stay there for a
while as a result of all this.  I apologize for any delay in answering your
private or public questions about MPE freeware or porting issues; I promise
I'll get around to it eventually!
