Hey Duane,

I'm interested in how you are accessing PostgreSQL from Cobol..what compiler
and Operating system are you using? Any performance benchmarks between
PostgreSQL and Eloquence? Did you actually port any Cobol to use PostgreSQL?
If so, how much work was required to replace all the Image calls?

Thanks,
Pete

We're using Kobol, Debian Linux, and Eloquence over here but we use PostgreSQL
on both our Web Servers and our POS Cash Registers. These also run Debian
Linux. We write our web stuff in PHP and our POS apps in Python using the Qt
toolkit.
