"hp2392" isn't distributed outside of HP, as far as I know.

"hpterm" supports block mode ... I've been using it (and vt3k) for
years.

True, both are minimally competent HP terminal emulators (compare them
to the capabilties of Reflection, for example), and are missing many
features (e.g., ability to program softkeys from the keyboard) that
are on real HP terminals (and on all PC/Mac emulators) ... but they
both support block mode adequately.
