I have heard it said that a consultant is someone who borrows your
watch, tells you the time, and then walks off with it.
But this guy wants to borrow my watch so he can give the time to
*somebody else* !
And he's asked to borrow it in the ng, but isn't sticking around for the
answer. Which is generally reckoned to be discourteous.
Hey Norman, Jeff, neither of these things is how the 'Net works!
(And yes, I know you said you wouldn't be looking.
But I hope the 'someone else' who is retaining you, and who *is*
supposed to be on this list, can see this and will pass it on.
And will also point you, via the Archive or Deja News, to the recent
(inconclusive) thread on this topic.
And will be able to stop blushing soon :-)
