When I copied my LaserROM CD's contents to a Samba/iX share on one of
our MPE/iX boxes I did enounter the same problem. It was because I missed
one file in the root level directory of the CD when I dragged&dropped
the stuff over to the 3k.

I do not recall its name by heart but there is a single file in the CD
root level directory that the LaserROM browser seems to be looking for.
So you probably will need to have a separate drive letter for those
LaserROM manuals. It won't work in a subsubdirectory, I guess.

Cheers, Lars.

PS: Does a PC have "symbolic links" like "X: -> Y:subdir/subdir/lrom"?
