Terry,
  The sequence you are looking for is Windows-key (hold) and M.
There should also be a small icon next to the start bar that looks like
a pencil
writing on a desktop.  Clicking this will do the same.

  The XP help  (Start...help) has a listing of all of the windows
shortcuts.  Look
for.."shortcut keys". :-)
