We are attempting to install a dual RS232 & Centronics
printer interface (P/N: C2356-60040, aka C2356-30101) into
our 2563A printer.
 
1. We are aware that this interface is not designed for
this printer.
 
2. We know that this interface works in this printer
because we've seen it done in the past.
 
3. We also are aware that HP will not support this printer
with this interface.
 
4. We went with this interface because the delay for the
correct one from HP was too long and we had this one in
house.
 
That being said, does anyone know how to configure the
printer RS232 port for maximum output? How do I know which
port is active? Are they both active at the same time?
 
I know that there are others out there doing this, please
let us know how you got it to work?
