Duane,

  The other day Hsing-Jung Du was trying to find a way to do RFA
from a web server script. Since your server is based on the CI
instead of POSIX, wouldn't he be able to do this fairly simply
using QWEBS?

Just Curious,

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] WEB server in COBOL

Patrick,

<plug>
I wrote a web server for the HP3000 in COBOL. It is HTTP/1.0 compliant
and runs under MPE. It does not require POSIX and so can run on MPE
versions prior to 5.0 (not that they are supported anymore...), although
it will support HFS directories if you choose.

For more information you can check out our web site
at: http://www.qss.com/ which is QWEBS running on a 937/LX.

You can download a free QWEBS demo from this site as well as check out
the marketing info on the product (yes - we sell it for a modest fee).

A number of sites are using QWEBS as a painfree way to get their HP3K
serving up information using the web. The CGI scripting is COBOL and
MPE friendly.
