I have been told that what changed on the other end is the version of
wu-ftp, to address a chroot security vulnerability, so that mget no longer
returns ./, even when requested. Once I have my first problem fixed, I
intend to try to find out more about the chroot issue. Insight into either
this or my original problem are still very much appreciated.
