Mike - You should have a chat with our tech support about how the
autorecnum works to create the column. In the current version (the syntax
you have used leads me to believe you are not on a recent version) will
allow the records to be added. Drop a line to [log in to unmask] and the
team will help you out.

Been there done that ... that's why we have the auto-recnum in the first
place - Experience!!
