because he is the squeakiest wheel. Posts extreme positions continuously,
and I daresay he is the one that single handedly turned the list in to a
political discussion mine field with it, no one else was doing it, but
people jumped on when they got sick of it.

that's nice, but I've done nothing but respond to his nutty posts on a few
occasions, I don't even copy him privately on them, let alone deluge his
mail box with news stories espousing my point of view. Would you like me
to privately start emailing all the news stories I can to you about how bad
the UN is? That is what is going on here.
