We're using them on an N-class system, and previously used them on a
K-class system. We're using NBSpool to control the actual spool file
management.

I've configured the LDEVs for them on a non-existent DTC just so I'll have
a device name and LDEV. (I've configured all my network printers into a
device class and profile called LANPRINT.) NBSpool then picks up the files
and sends to the Zebra printers.

They're configured as followed on my system:
      Printer type: 0
      Printer type file name: TT99.PUB.SYS
      Line Speed: 9600
      Record Width: 300
      Modem Type: 0
      Modem Behavior: 0
      Data lenght/parity: None
      Number of stop bits: 1
      Hardware handshaking: N
      Enable flow control: Y

Most of the above information is unused, but establishes the device name.

Under LANPRINT, I've configured a "Class Name" for each network printer.

I've configured a DTC, which I've called "Network", with LAN station
address 00-00-00-00-00-00. I've configured Port 0 to be LDEV 900, and
Profile Name "LANPRINT".

By doing the above, I've configured an LDEV, Device Class, and Device
Profile.

If you aren't using NBSpool, you'll probably have to add it to your
NPCONFIG file.

Hope that helps,

Can anyone tell me if the current Zebra printers are compatible with the
3000?

TIA

Ian
