     The simple answer is yes.  The IA-64 is the next level of technology
     beyond PA-RISC...EPIC(Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing).  In
     the hierarchy of chips that HP is using, we have the PA-8000 followed
     by the PA-8200 followed by the PA-8500 followed by the IA-64.

     IA-64 will be compatible with both IA-32 and PA-RISC.
