I'm trying to use more to move around a thousand-line stdlist. But at a
particular point in the stdlist, I get the following error:
: RUN FTP.ARPA.SYS < FTPTM4
File Transfer Protocol [A0011F05] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 2000 [PASSIVE
SUPPORT]
ftp> EXITONERROR
ExitOnError mode on. (FTPINFO 33)
ftp> OPEN 172.16.52.7
220 ftpserver Microsoft FTP Service (Version 4.0).
Connected to 172.16.52.7. (FTPINFO 40)
ftp> USER ozymandias
331 Password required for ozymandias.
Password:
******** /HPSPOOL/OUT/O3506: Not a text file ********
What I should see at this point is:
331 Password required for ozymandias.
Password:
230-Welcome to ftpserver
230 User ozymandias logged in.
Remote system type is Windows_NT
So, it looks like something about this Welcome message in a stdlist is
breaking more. Is that what it is? Do I have any choice other than asking
the admin to change the Welcome message?
