I believe that Query can do what you want.  If you do a >FORM SETS in Query,
it
gives the dataset in, so far as I can tell, numeric order.  That is, the
first
one is WHATVR01, the next is WHATVR02, etc.

Ted, what good is that?  I don't have any data bases named WHATVR.
