Kill a phantom session?

We have a remote session on a Classic which will not abort and we
would like to avoid having to do a coolstart.

The session was initiated via NS from another HP.  A remote MPE Store
was started.  The connection was terminated, but the remote session
remains.  The remote databases show 'BEING STORED' when we do an
Listf,ACCESS.  The store device shows available.

ABORTJOB has no effect.  ABORTIO on the file and store device shows
no i/o to abort.  Thanks in advance for access to your 'bag of tricks'.
