Is there a way to look at a temp file that is currently being created/accessed
by a batch job?

Specifically, we have a batch job with logon: job1,mgr.account1.
I am logged on as: ses1,manager.sys.
The batch job has a temporary input file into a cobol program. I'd like to see
what record of the input file the cobol program is currently processing on (to
determine how far along the job is). If the input file were permanent, I would
do the following:
:MPEX
%listf file1.group1.account1,access

What could I do now that the input file has been changed to be a temporary file?

Thank you.
