Hi all,
I have this problem accessing my Allbase DBE on MPE 5.5, and I'm
running out of ideas. My server program, when trying the connect dbe,
returns:

   File system error on AliasDB file.  (       MPEXL errno 52)  (DBERR
27008)
   Local database connection failed with DBERR 3078.  Remote access
attempted.
 (DBWARN 29007)

A local program, using the same Allbase code against the same DBE, has no
such
problem. The database is definitely there, my server program is at least as
privileged
as the local program and it uses the same account, group and user. Tried
everything I
could think of, but it just won't work. Grrr....

I realize you people are more into NT and Java these days ;-)
But any helpful ideas out there ? I'm getting really desperate by now.
