The 3 methods I have used to copy databases (and all of mine
are using Omnidex), besides obvious solutions
like using the Adager copy function (a good reason to by
Adager if you don't have it already)

MPEX.

Store/Restore (especially easy if you have the store to disc version)

FTP.

You could also just re-run the indexing job after copying
the way you were. If you don't have one, just use OMNIUTIL
to create one (it is one of the standard menu options.)

Subject: [HP3000-L] Database Copy

I have recently upgraded to release 6.5 and turned on the B-tree
indexing on my databases in order to test a new software package. In
the pass I have always used the copy utility written by Stan Sieler to
copy my databases. The version I have does not work when the indexing
is turned. Is there an updated version or does anybody know of another
utility that will work?

Thanks,
Camille Bourque
