I can see it now. A group of planners sitting in an office in Redmond,
brainstorming ways to make the M$-Linux distribution match other M$
softwares...

"...well, it's reliability is going to be a problem. it makes our other
stuff look bad."
"...yeah, maybe we should build in a random CPU freeze process?"
"...or at least a way to take up CPU cycles when nobody's watching. maybe a
phone home?"
"...oh, yeah, and our EULA will have to say users can't get patches for
anything from anyone but us."
"...and that they have to use OUR browser."
"...definitely! oh, can we still write full surf and application usage
history to hidden files?"
"...I don't know. we'll have to check with the techies on that. the Lx
userbase is likely to find the files anyway."
"...yeah, we wouldn't control the directory structure anymore."
"...that will be a problem. this isn't going to be good."
"...think of the money we can make on training classes, though."
"...and we need a way to be able to sniff their systems anytime they surf
our website to prove they aren't breaking the rules."
"...hmmmm, this is gonna be tricky."

All kidding aside, if M$ had a real problem with someone using the name
Lindows, it is probably because if they wanted to have their own
distribution of Linux, can you think of a better name for it?
