Just a thought: Does "over a quarter century" sound better or not?

The first thing to go is your hearing.

Wirt's ad at http://aics-research.com/wsjad.html
<http://aics-research.com/wsjad.html> says:

"...invented 25 years ago"

If we quote the number of years let's get the number right. I seem to
remember celebrating the 25th anniversary several years ago at one of those
noisy parties at INTEREXnn (before it was HPWorld) - I don't remember which
one. Lars said it's 28 years. Or say "over 25 years ago" if you like round
numbers (is 25 round).

Speaking of memory - I've been told that your memory is the second thing to
go when you get old - I don't remember what the first thing is.

Jack (my memory is slipping) Bailie
