After some more tests here on various version of MPE, I am still quizzical.

>From 5.5 on (the oldest version of MPE/iX we have here,) if I do a restore
of even /-base directories, as long as I specify ;CREATE in the restore, I
get these directories back using restore @,@,@.

So unless the original restore did not use ;CREATE, I can't see why the
directories were not restored the first time.

When I look at the below $STDLIST you provided, my confusion grows. You
definitely used the ;CREATE keyword and Turbostore even acknowledged that.
Yet, by your original message, the there should have been no issue with
restoring the paths.

Here is my equation from my $STDLIST:
 :FILE T;DEV=TAPE
:RESTORE *T;@[log in to unmask]@;/QDX/@/@;DIRECTORY;CREATE;OLDDATE;KEEP
STORE/RESTORE VERSION C.65.19 (C) 1986 HEWLETT-PACKARD CO.

RESTORE
*T;@[log in to unmask]@,/ARCHIVE/STORE/@,/WEBRPT/@/@,/WEBRPT/@/@/@/@,/QDX/@/@;CREATE;O

'CREATE' OPTION DEFAULTING TO 'CREATE=ACCOUNT,GROUP,CREATOR,PATH'
BASED ON YOUR CAPABILITIES (S/R 502)
