Thats one thing nice about COBOL, it doesn't change much. Work a little here
and a little there, and don't have to go to training for each iteration. The
more I use the newer languages, the more I appreciate the simplicity and
stableness of the old languages. I also like how MicroFocus (and possibly
others) have been shoehorning new, easier to use functionality into the
COBOL language. Use your COBOL to get work done and the newer languages for
playing (proto-typing).
