Each day for the last week or so, I thought that we would be ready to
distribute the first version of QCTerm -- which we're labeling Version 0.3
(it has about 1/3 of the total behavior that we have eventually planned for
it currently in place). But we keep finding little pecadillos that I would
like to have fixed before we release it, even in this pre-alpha, rough-draft
release.

Nonetheless, the web pages for QCTerm have been completed and I thought that
you might want to look at them before the emulator is actually available. It
probably never hurts to get the documentation about a week early, anyway. The
documentation for QCTerm is at:

I have disabled the actual download portion of the web page, so please don't
be surprised when you get an error. When we're truly ready to give QCTerm
out, that will be corrected.

Last Christmas, I said that the free distribution of QCTerm would be a
Christmas present of sorts. I never thought that it would take so long (but
at least I've kept my record unsullied concerning my ability to predict how
long a software project would take; so far, I've never come close to being
accurate). However, I may have been more prescient than I orginally
recognized, with Halloween coming up, and the recognition now that we all
have that

     Oct 31 = Dec 25

Comments and corrections, as always, would be appreciated.
