This tidbit comes from someone in my Linux user group and has to do with Microsoft's latest "power play" (I guess...) in regards to "internet standards" and licensing thereof.  For the most part, this isn't directly HP3000 related, however as the HP does indeed run Sendmail [and bind], there may be some folks interested in the eventual outcome.  For the rest of you, it may make for great water-cooler conversation about how "spam" may come to a screeching halt [or not...]
