Gentle HP 3000 List members,

SIGBAR (Special Interest Group on Brainstorming And Research) had its
semi-annual formal meeting at IPROF two weeks ago. I am sorry it took so
long to post the minutes, the notes I had taken were placed in empty
bottles for safe-keeping.

Notes from IPROF'98 for SIGBAR

Present: Joe Geiser SIGBAR chair, Denys P. Beauchemin SIGBAR secretary,
various members and Sam the bartender.

Joe Geiser opened the meeting with the first toast.

The wine card from the last meeting was read and approved without changes.

Joe then moved the meeting to new bottles, sorry, business.

Gary Biggs wanted to brainstorm on IMAGE/SQL and Allbase, so he started
explaining some very arcane issues. The discussion entailed several bottles
of beer, until Sam pointed out there was beer on tap. At that point, the
meeting switched to another subject.

Joe adjourned the meeting when the bartender announced last call.

Respectfully submitted on April Fool's day. . . With apologies to Joe and
Gary.

Denys P. Beauchemin
SIGBAR secretary, Wine taster extraordinare and general bon vivant.
