Howdy,

Well now I've gone and done it. The scenario:

Download Mover (635) from the jazz website to my PC.
Use reflection to upload to the 3000 - as MANGER.SYS,PUB
    in the POSIX shell.
Run Mover.
I screwed something up as Mover issued a junk message followed
by "not found" and then hung.
Ctl break key and abort.

That's where the trouble starts:
There it sits as job #S69, PIN 107.
I cannot abort the job. Showproc job=#s69 tells me the process does
not exist but Showproc pin=107 tells me the state is BLKCB and
the program step is SH.HPBIN.SYS.

GlanceXl tells me the session is IMP and the process is in a LONG
WAIT state and it is waiting on a CONTROL BLOCK. It is using no
cpu and is doing no disc IO.

Mpex tells me the executable Mover file is still being accessed by me.

The PC is serially connected to the 3000 via a DTC48. I have tried
disconnecting and reconnecting to no avail (as expected) and
ABORTIO tell me no I/O to abort (also expected).

The question:
Any suggestions on how to shut that toad-flinger down short of
downing the whole 3k?

Jim (hole in foot) Trudeau
