                Hi all,

I'd like for you take just a moment to read this quick story...it's about two little boys and some snow.

It starts with a sunny winter day after a night of several inches of new snowfall. You are sitting at the kitchen table looking out the glass patio door watching two little boys rolling themselves in the snow down the gently sloped back yard, and then racing each other back up to the back porch only to do the routine all over again. The cold has made the two little boys' cheeks bright red, and all of the winter apparel their mom has clad them in makes the boys look as though they are wearing moon suits. After a moment of rest from playing, the two little boys disappear from the backyard, and you can hear them giggling as they pass from the side of the house towards the front yard. The familiar giggle you hear from the boys makes you wonder just what kind mischief they are about to get into, but your attention returns to the morning paper and coffee.

After reading several articles from the paper, you hear the two little boys hollering for you in anxious and excited voices. You jump up from the table to see what they've gotten into this time (trying to anticipate which of the boys was the first to bite/kick/hit/pinch the other, and why), and on the way to the front door, you stub your big toe on the living room coffee table. Hopping towards the front door on one foot while holding the foot with the throbbing toe in your right hand, you start uttering some choice exclamations about kids, cluttered houses and the need for more sanity in the world at large. When you arrive at the front door, you throw it open ready to holler at both of the boys that you don't care who started what ever it was that they are fighting about...but as you look outside, you see that the two little boys are standing side by side with their arms crossed over each others' shoulders at the far end of the front yard, they both have those impish little grins that little boys get, and then they both yell out at you "Surprise!!!! Merry Christmas Daddy! We made you some angels!!". As you look about, you can see that the your entire front yard (and the neighbor's front yard ) is covered with snow angels that the two little boys made, and then the littlest one asks you..."Daddy, do you like them, where you surprised?".

Now hopefully, after reading this little story, you're sitting there with a heart felt smile on you face, and the warmth of a child's love in you heart, because that's what we want you to feel when we, the Shahan's, wish you and yours a Merry Christmas!!
