I remember doing some benchmarks a few yeas back on my 917, as a single user
system, which showed relatively little performance gain after 56 MBytes.
This was MPE/iX 4.0, so things have probably changed. I'll be doing the same
benchmarks soon under 5.5pp4, so I'll let you know if there's any changes!
