I am not familiar with DBUTILS, but if you mean DBUTIL.PUB.SYS, that will
not show the capacities and the usage.

On the other hand QUERY.PUB.SYS will do that and you can certainly redirect
the output to a file.  The file you want to redirect is QSLIST and the
commands inside of QUERY, after opening the base would be:

>OUT=LP
>FO SETS
>OUT=TERM (or simple EXIT)

The file would then be available to read and interpreted.

this is so i can interogate the file for capacities > 79 %.

Wish i had MPEX but alas no.
