It came to my attention that CSY has not communicated very well
the status of the 2001 SIB top 10 items.  So here it is:

Top 11 items

1   IMAGE and threads                   Investigation done, decided "no".
2   System CI variables                 Decided "no", wrappers avail on
Jazz.
3   LDEV 1 disk utilization     Yes in 7.5
4   sendmail in FOS                     Yes in 7.0

5   add shutdown command                Yes in 7.0 (patch) and in 7.5
mainline.
6   Samba passwd encryption             Yes, as part of SIB 2002 vote.
7   improve Java runtime                Yes in 7.0
8   MPE & UPS integration               Yes in 7.5
9   PHP, openSSL and NTP as HP Freeware Yes, on Jazz; PHP avail on Invent3k.
10a Perl as HP Freeware*                Yes on Jazz.
10b Perl in WebWise*+                   No.
11  reduce Java startup time            Yes, avail on Jazz via JAVACI.


* item 10 was broken into these two pieces by CSY.
+ WebWise is no longer sold/marketed by CSY.  Instead, secure Apache is
  bundled into MPE FOS as of release 7.5
