Bill,

You wrote a passionate letter to the HP3000 community from a hardware
suppliers point of view.
However, MPE is software and without the release of the code from HP,
there is no way the operating system can be supported without HP.
If the OpenMPE movement doesn't meet with success in getting the code
released, who is going to be able to fix existing and future problems
and provide that vital patch support?

Just my E .02 and I do commiserate and sympathize with much of what
you said.
